When you send an enquiry through this website, we collect the details you enter: your name, your firm, your email address, your phone number if you give one, the kind of help you are looking for, and your message. If you contact us by email or phone, we hold the details you give us in the same way.
If you ask for our book, The Exit Readiness Gap, through the form on our Insights page, we collect the first name and email address you enter.
We use your details to read and reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss working together. We do this because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to people who contact our business, and because you have asked us to take steps before entering into an agreement. If you request the book, we use your first name and email address to send it to you.
If you request the book and tick the box on the form, we will also send you occasional emails from Swanson Capital about selling, buying and valuing IFA firms. We do this only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any of those emails or writing to enquiries@swansoncapital.co.uk. We do not send marketing emails to anyone who has not agreed to receive them.

We keep enquiry details, and the details you give when requesting the book, for 12 months after our last contact with you, and then delete them. If you agree to receive our emails, we keep your email address on our list until you unsubscribe. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as we need them to provide our service and to meet our legal and professional obligations.
This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. The book request form is hosted by Google, which has its own privacy policy and uses its own cookies.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to ask us to restrict how we use it, and to object to our use of it. To do any of these, email enquiries@swansoncapital.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
